Announcing the Return of the Yarn Truck!

29 Mar

I am so pleased to announce the return of Purlin’ J’s yarn truck, nicknamed “Lil Dorothy”! I hope you’ll stop by and see what’s new at the first ever Spring Chicken Craft Fair, brought to you by the same great folks who do the popular Fat Goose Craft Fair! Lil Dorothy will be parked at the Renaissance Event Venue (285 Queen St. Kingston, Ontario) on Sunday, May 4th, 11am to 4 pm. This juried show will also have the lower level of the Renaissance Venue open to help even out the crowds and add much-needed space for vendors.

Until then I am discontinuing my weekly specials, so you can save your pennies for all the beauties coming on board Lil Dorothy! (And so I can devote my time to sprucing up Lil Dorothy after her long winter’s nap.)

You can look forward to some stunning new hand-dyed sock yarns, new yarns for spring, and some new colours of some of your favourites! And look, here’s a sample I made of one of Laura Nelkin’s Mudra Cuff kits, one of a few of her kits you’ll find on board the yarn truck:

Looking forward to seeing you on-board,
Joan
