Shop the yarn truck in Barriefield 7 June

This Saturday promises to be absolutely glorious! I’m looking forward to having Lil Dorothy, Purlin’ J’s yarn truck, in Barriefield this Saturday, 7 June from 10am to 4pm. Look for Lil Dorothy in the green field.

The Barriefield Village 200th Anniversary Celebration will include displays and demos of heritage crafts and trades (boatbuilding, blacksmithing, carpentry, window making, spinning and weaving, etc.), historic costumes, walking tours and wagon rides through the village, a bake sale, afternoon tea at St. Mark’s Church, Farm Girl food, musical performances, AND Purlin’ J’s yarn truck!

Note: Activities will take place in three locations: the green field (GF) at the intersection of Wellington and George Streets, St. Mark’s Church (SM), and the Frontenac County Schools Museum (FCSM).
